To the woman my dog accidentally bit at the park – m4w – 30 (Barton Park)

My dog chased you at the park on Thursday when you were running. You were wearing blue spandex pants and a yellow running vest, so cars would see you. My dog was barking at the homeless Mexican guy who lives in that section of the park when he saw you out of the corner of his eye and took off as fast as his three legs could carry him. He playfully nipped at your heels and you kicked him, and kept trying to run, but he’s much faster than you (even though he has only three legs) and he kept trying to stop you.

What I want to say is that I think my dog was trying to herd you over to me. He’s not a herding dog but he has really good instincts and probably could tell we’d be a good match. He knows me really well and can judge people really quick – like he judged the homeless Mexican guy. When we spoke, I really felt a connection. I feel you are smart because you were making some pretty good legal arguments and I really respect that kind of intelligence in a woman. You also seem really stoic because you kept running even though your leg was bleeding. Was that from an earlier injury?

I know you felt the connection too, which is why you asked for my address and number. I just don’t want you to be embarrassed about calling me – it’s totally cool.
