Mansion on Palm Beach (Palm Beach)
i am the caretaker of a lavish mansion on Clarke Ave in Palm Beach, FL. i am looking to get away for a long weekend or even a week and i am willing to swap my home for yours. as i am the caretaker of this mansion, i have certain responsibilities that i must attend to at all times. so if you are to swap with me, it is understood that you must perform them. the mansion was owned by an elderly woman (who i never actually met) who died and left her entire home and fortune to her 19 cats. technically the cats own the mansion and i am their tennant but you hardly notice them at all and they respect your privacy. your responsibilities with the cats are kind of weird but not that hard. the woman stipulated in her will that the cats have to be sung to every night before they go to sleep. it’s kind of a pain in the ass because you have to round up all 19 cats or else you’ll end up singing the same song 19 times. also, don’t try to just put a song on the stereo bc i tried that once and the cats all completely freaked out and scratched my thighs when they saw me.
i’m going out on a limb doing this because mr. snickets, the oldest cat, isn’t doing so well and i probably should stay close to home, but i’m going bonkers and i need a vacation.
